Cam Newton, Quarterback of the Carolina Panthers, is the 2011 NFL Rookie of the Year
I’ll admit it, I wasn’t a fan when we drafted him, but I’m glad that this worked out in our favor.
Looks like we’ve redesigned our logo. I think I like it. It’s new and fresh without throwing away what made the old logo work. I wish there was a little more silver in it though.
There were many contenders for the title of “Best Time Sensitive Tebow-Related Tweet,” but this one takes home the Golden Keyboard.
YAINTS GOING NOWHERES, KID
We just replaced the Baltimore Ravens with the inmates from “The Longest Yard.” Let’s see if anyone notices.
This isn’t the result I wanted, but I’m very pleased nonetheless. As a fan, it’s great to see a significant improvement from last year’s awful, awful, AWFUL season. Losing to the defending champs by 7, with a rookie QB at the helm? Respectable.
I’m calling it now, look for the Panthers to get their first win next week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. With Cam making throwing for 420+ yards look easy and the Jags being…terrible, picking up the W should be easy.
