Me and whoever’s running the Rock Band twitter feed are starting to bond. This is probably the 3rd week in a row where they’ve commented on my weekly hobby. Maybe they’ll be nice and throw me some DLC as a “thank you” gift.
It’s always cool when companies acknowledge their customers. It’s the little things that make a difference.
Sundays are for Rock Band. Now that I finally managed to calibrate the game to my liking, I’m about to spend my the rest of my morning accomplishing trivial goals in Rock Band 3 because I can.
Didn’t need it. Wasn’t particularly in the market to pick it up. But for $10 new? Too good to pass up.
Plans are in the works for me to make a trip to my parent’s house sometime soon. I need to pick up some clothes I left there along with some other things. Two of those “other things”? Rock Band 2 and my Guitar Hero World Tour guitar. I’m in dire need of a good (pretend) metal jam session.
So yeah….this was created.
Would I spend $2 on this? You damn right I would. “Take It On The Run” would have some competition for the title of “song that gets sung 3 times in a row when I’m drunk.”
One gaming related feature that I’m always mad that I wasn’t able to take advantage of? Making my own figurine from my Rock Band avatar. For around $100, Harmonix would turn your RB character into a real-life, 6” inch tall figurine. Sure, $100 may seem like a lot to blow on something so trivial, but let’s be realistic - how else would I get my own figurine?
