You know…I’m not a fan of either franchise separately, but together? I think I kinda want this.
sometimes, all you need is a Star Wars marathon.
One day I should probably sit down and watch these movies. While I’ve seen the 3 prequels in full, I’ve never bothered to watch the original trilogy. Sure, I’ve heard the stories and seen enough of them to get the gist, but to say I’ve watched them from start to finish? Notsomuch.
Really, George? They’re retarded looking enough as it is…
New BluRay ROTJ features Ewoks donning cartoony iris and pupil filled peepers.
Not to pick on tacgnol (because she’s awesome) or any other Star Wars fan, but I’m glad that this movie/series isn’t my favorite.
Why? Because with every release, re-release, and special edition SOMETHING gets changed. New scenes are added, actors are retconned into movies that were created before they were born, scenes gets deleted, people who were always believed to have shot first are found to have not, etc., etc. It’s ridiculous. By the time it’s all said and done, George Lucas will have destroyed and recreated movies that are loved by a large group of people.
These little changes add up over time.
Thank God Lucas didn’t direct Ghostbusters.
