RUNAWAY TRUCK RAMP

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a favorite WWE Diva. Glad to see AJ getting a main-event level push.

Don’t act like you ain’t copping this

Hmm… That “WWE Attitude” logo wasn’t on the leaked images that hit the web last week. I wonder secrets that logo holds.

British Bulldog, Owen Hart, Bret “The Hitman” Hart, and Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart - The Hart Foundation 1997

One of my favorite times in wrestling history. WWF in 1997 was very interesting.

Truth. IMO, D-Generation X (v.1.0) vs. The Hart Foundation from ‘97 was a better feud than D-Generation X (v.2.0) vs. The Nation from ‘98 (even though most Attitude Era fans would believe otherwise).

Just got back from RAW. All in all, it was probably one of the worst WWE shows I’ve ever been to. Mind you, it wasn’t terrible…just very, very, very bland. It’s like everyone had a case of the Mondays (even the crowd). There was more than a little bit of “going through the motions” tonight.
On the bright side, my tickets were free as was my parking. You’ve gotta take the victories wherever you can get them.

Looking forward to being in attendance tomorrow night! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been to a live RAW taping.

G.O.A.T.

Reblogged for truth.
I grew up on wrestling, but I wasn’t hooked until the build up for WrestleMania X’s ladder match between Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon. On the flipside, I’ve noticed that my desire to watch wrestling has decreased since HBK hung up his boots.
Bret Hart was good, but his tagline of “Best there is, best there was, and best there ever will be” is false.

WWE sincerely thanks the WWE Universe for helping make this year’s WrestleMania – the 28th edition of The Showcase of the Immortals – a record-setting success.
WWE announced Monday that WrestleMania XXVIII, held April 1 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, set a new record for pay-per-view buys. Preliminary estimates show that the event, featuring the historic “Once in a Lifetime” Match between The Rock and John Cena, and the “End of an Era” Hell in a Cell Match between The Undertaker and Triple H, garnered 1.3 million pay-per-view buys.

Good to see one of the few companies I love do well.
Even better to see considering I picked up another share of WWE a few days ago.

yo brockwhat did the five fingers say to the face

This moment was the first time I truly cheered for John Cena.

It’ll be interesting to see how this feud goes. Contrary to the feelings of smarks around the world, John Cena may wind up playing the face (that’s “good guy” for you non-wrestling kids).
In his feud against The Rock, John Cena was going up against a man who was loved and adored the world over when he left WWE. No matter how big of a star you are, that’s a huge mountain to climb. Against Lesnar, Cena’s playing the role of a wounded star going up against a man who was booed out of Madison Square Garden at WrestleMania XX. While the WWE likes us to play the patsy at times, we wrestling fans have long memories.
Yes, The Rock left WWE to make movies, but it was a gradual leaving that was done on good terms. Brock Lesnar quit to try his hand at what became an ill-fated NFL career.
I like Cena’s odds with the fans here.

If I could party with one group of celebrities, so help me, this would be it.
And I’m not talking about “in their prime” either. Going out and shutting down the bars with this group of 40 to 65 year old men would be knee slappin’ good time. Even with Shawn Michaels sitting in the corner drinking Sierra Mist.

WELP! HERE COMES THE PAIN!

Welcome back Brock. Even though you quit on us (literally) the first time, it’s good to have you back in the fold. Just remember, Vince never forgets anything…
