Ha! One of our receptionists found ArcadiaTiger and me on the Employer’s homepage. Go fig.
We’re still on the homepage. This makes me giggle everytime I see it.

Monday was a weird day. Honestly, I’m not even sure it happened. The better part of Sunday was spent sleeping hibernating, so I rolled into Monday well rested. That would have been great had I not needed to get into work early. The employer is having a Staff Appreciation Event next weekend that features a free tailgate and a basketball game against my Alma Mater. All I had to do to get the freebies? Get to work early.
For better or worse, registration for this event opened at 8am on Monday. That wouldn’t have been a big deal where it not for the fact that my work day normally starts at 8:30am. So, like a good Clemson alum, I left home 25 minutes early so I could be at my desk by 8. I wound up getting to campus around 8:07, but no big deal - I logged on, registered for my tickets, and was done with the whole exchange by 8:15 or so. Good thing too, because by 9am all of the tickets they had allocated for the event were gone. The early bird definitely got the worm here.
To think, there were people in my office not stressing about getting tickets because registration was open until February 6th. Now I know that my employer isn’t known for having the most school spirit, but who doesn’t like a free basketball game AND free food?
Anyways, with the tickets and food secured and my friends on deck, I just need (recent) history to repeat itself…
I love this picture.
Apparently Puddles takes her 4-player games of Pac-Man Battle Royale very seriously.
